Mena Alexandra Suvari, born on 13 February 1979, in America is an actress, fashion designer and a model. After beginning her career as a model, she transitioned into acting after appearing in guest roles on 1990's television shows such as Boy Meets World and High Incident. She had her first film part in the drama Nowhere. The performances she made in American Beauty, for which she won an BAFTA Award nomination and American Pie led to her being the subject of more interest. In 2000, she was alongside her American Pie co star Jason Biggs. Then, she played the leading role in Sugar & Spice (2000).
